Season update emails and work requests

If you sign up on our updates page, we keep your email address, optional first name and any idea you share, and use them only to announce Hillside of Horror season dates and tickets.

If you ask about working the trail or the haunted bus, we also keep your phone number, age group, availability and experience, and use them only to contact you about working.

Reply to any of our emails, or email hillsideofhorror@gmail.com, to be removed.

Information we collect

When you purchase tickets, make a donation, sign a waiver, or contact us, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the service, this may include names, contact details, event date, guest names, waiver details, electronic signatures, emergency-contact information, order information, and transaction identifiers.

Payment-card details are collected directly by Square. Hillside of Horror does not store complete card numbers or card security codes on this website.

How information is used

We use information to process admission and donations, deliver tickets and confirmations, verify waivers, check guests in, provide customer service, prevent misuse, maintain business records, and operate the attraction safely.

Website activity

The website records an anonymous browser identifier, current page, referral website, device category, and recent activity so authorized owners can see live site traffic. Raw visitor IP addresses are not stored for this feature; a one-way hash is used. Visitor activity records are automatically removed after 30 days.

Service providers and retention

Square processes card payments, and the configured email provider delivers transactional messages. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect guests or the business, or to investigate fraud and security incidents.

Business, ticket, payment, waiver, and safety records are retained as reasonably necessary for operational, legal, accounting, and dispute-resolution purposes.
